Caliber DJs is the BEST!!!! I have worked with Nate and his amazing team for a few years as a wedding planner, but this last weekend, it was my wedding, and I knew I had to work with Nate! He not only knows how to keep a dancefloor going, but he is also one of the most lovely people I have ever met. From the beginning of our wedding planning process, Nate was so extremely responsive and organized! I felt so comfortable with him in charge of the music, that I truly felt like I didn't even need to give him suggestions because he just gets it!! He was also so on top of everything from the second he was onsite. There was not a single problem the entire night because he is so prepared and easy to work with! When it came to the dancing portion of the reception, the dancefloor was packed all night all because of him!! There was literally never a lull in the music. It was non stop dancing! The venue that I got married at also had a hard noise ordinance at 9:30pm, so Nate helped organize a silent disco for us, and it was SO MUCH FUN!!! I have gotten so many compliments about Nate and Caliber DJs since my wedding, and I am so happy that I got to work with him! Nate made my day so much fun, and I can't say enough amazing things about him! He is truly the best and will keep your guests dancing all night long! THANK YOU SO MUCH NATE!!

Nate went above and beyond for our intimate wedding in Healdsburg. He curated an amazing play list (which we got compliments on all night long) and was able to adjust to an impromptu Hora. Hey stayed to make sure everyone had the best time and we are so grateful for all the planning and attention to make our day so special!

Nate DJed our wedding last April and it was absolutely incredible. We spent a few months working on playlists, sending tracks back and forth, and they completely delivered on our vision. The dance floor was popping off for almost 5 hour. And we heard everything from The Beatles to The Chemical Brothers. All perfectly timed for the vibe of the night. Would without doubt recommend.

I have nothing but good things to say about Caliber. Between the thoughtful questionnaire and the team's excellent communication, Caliber truly customizes each event to YOUR vision and YOUR story- not just a cookie-cutter playlist. From the moment we met him, we knew we had found the right person for us. As a queer couple, we had no doubt that Nate and his colleagues would always make us feel welcome and right at home- but they truly went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. Our venue had a complicated logistical set up at a place he hadn't worked before, but like a true pro Nate figured out exactly how to mic everything perfectly. Not only is Nate a pro, he's also an absolute joy to work with. He integrated all of our goofy requests but still kept an air of elegance. At one point, Nate noticed that I was getting bitten by mosquitos in my open-backed dress and gestured to me from the side of the reception area with a can of bug spray. Then on the dance floor, he put together a transition so perfect I had to stop what I was doing to go give him props. If you're thinking about Caliber, don't think twice- just go for it. I promise you won't regret it.

Nate was amazing for our wedding. He met with us a multiple times and really heard what we were looking for. He also did sound at our ceremony and cocktail hour and made the day flow seamlessly. Dance floor was busy all night! He was so great to work with and I would highly recommend!

Unbelievably easy to work with, set up, on-point, incredible DJ that was far above any of our expectations. It was a corporate event for architects at the Contemporary Jewish Museum. Nate made it upscale and classy, while bringing up the vibe in just the perfect way. Can't wait to use him again.

Nate was recommended to us by our wedding planner and he was amazing to work with! Very responsive, down to earth and accommodating. We are a "last minute" couple and made additions till the day before our wedding. He worked with us with song suggestions and accommodating musicians. We had a small wedding but he played all the right songs and kept the dance party and energy going! Highly recommend!

Nate was an absolute MVP of our wedding! I'm still in awe of how he tapped into the energy of our guests and kept the dance floor full of people having the time of our lives for the entire party. I could not leave the dance floor because every song was something I HAD to dance to! He was also thoughtful about playing some sweet personal things for us during the dinner/cocktail hour. He took the time to speak with us and get to know our tastes, and that really came through at the event. He was so professional and well-prepared at every stage. Nate and Edwin were absolutely fantastic to work with for our wedding. From start to finish, the whole process went smoothly. As a couple we have a fairly broad taste in music (that borders on a little quirky at times . . .) and Edwin was able to take our list of music we like and completely nail it. From music during the ceremony and cocktail reception to the dance floor, Edwin selected a compliation that was perfect. So many guests came to us to say how much they loved the music!! Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you so much!

Nate took every expectation we had and absolutely surpassed it. We were looking at two different genres to blend into our wedding, between a classic playlist and mixing in a few early 2000's Pop Punk hits. Nate found the perfect flow to block some genres together and always keep the dance floor moving without any lulls.He truly went above and beyond when we had a medical emergency at our wedding and we had to wrap up early. While we had plenty of people who still had energy left, Nate helped coordinate with a local bar that could take us, packed up his whole kit, and kept DJing the rest of the night.Nate's just a pleasant bubbly personality who is what you want regardless of event you're planning. Completely organized and helpful even when we weren't sure of every detail we wanted for our ceremony and reception. Made the whole process wonderful.

DJ Kidd of CaliberDJs provided entertainment during our cocktail hour & wedding reception at the Arizona Grand Resort. Everyone was glued to the dance floor. Guests sang every lyric they knew to every song. So many people kept telling us what an awesome DJ we had, how great the set list was, etc. compliments rained in! Thank you a million times over to Kidd and Nate. You are an all star team. Very professional. Very understanding.

Caliber DJs are incredible! Nate is not only an incredibly thoughtful, attentive DJ, but also an amazing producer. Some DJs are just amateurs and play what "sounds right." Nate goes beyond just a "sounds right" approach. He truly knows music, which makes his services superior.

Nate was an absolutely fantastic DJ for our wedding. He knew the location, listened to our expectations and musical tastes and just delivered 100%! The dance floor was packed all night and my husband and I spent the majority of the wedding tearing it up with our guests. Thanks Nate for contributing to an amazing party!!!

DJ Nate did not disappoint as my wedding DJ. He handled the music and equipment for ceremony, dinner, and dancing. His experience was helpful as he was able to adapt to the windy conditions, shuffle a new dance song at the last minute, and play a terrific mix of pop and Ethiopian music to appease the palates of all guests.

We had a great time with Caliber DJs for our Sept 2019 wedding in Healdsburg. Nate was so much fun to work with and incredibly professional. He was flexible and responsive throughout the process, and was totally happy to jump in and provide music for our ceremony when we decided not to do live music, and also to come with us to another location for the afterparty (and promised to play until we closed it out!). He did a great job of taking our (short) list of must-plays and likes, and adding his own touches. The music selections were fantastic not just for the dance party, but also for dinner, cocktail hour, etc. And, he was a great emcee, saying all the things he needed to say but staying in the background. (We've been at some weddings with overbearing emcees and they are the WORST... Nate just could not have been more professional). And, the fees were very reasonable, especially given that he was with us from ~2pm until midnight!

Only two flags: the music was a bit loud during the wedding and we had to ask him to turn it down, and the mic didn't work at the beginning for my dad's toast (he fixed it midway through). But both relatively minor things in the grand scheme of things. We would recommend working with Nate!

We loved working with Caliber for our wedding. They were organized, had great communication and excellent equipment. Most importantly, our DJ- DJ Olga T - was the best, and our dance floor was fire. Would 100% recommend.

DJ Nate kept the dance floor busy at my winter wedding. The flow into the next song was smooth. I think Nate may be the best dance floor reader I have ever seen. He is also very professional, made sure we got the music we wanted and didn't play anything we didn't. By the end of the night we were holding our lights up for an encore. The night was complete with every dance imaginable. We had couples dancing, line dancing, dancing in a circle, group dancing, solo show off dancing, splits in the air dancing, reverse worm dancing, break dancing. I can't imagine my wedding with any other DJ. Did I mention we didn't have a single no show at our reception? I like to think some of Nate's charm played a part. Do yourself a favor and book this super talent yesterday. Then you can be like me, people coming up to you saying how much fun they had at your wedding. Million Thanks Nate!!

If you are looking for an amazing DJ you have found him! Nate was our wedding DJ and he did an absolutely phenomenal job. Let me start by saying he was great from the start. He is very responsive, always responded quickly to my emails and answered all of my questions. We had an in person meeting with us and he was so warm, kind and genuine we knew we had to book him. He was great with getting to know what we were looking for as far as music and what we wanted for our MC. I also surprised my groom with a performance and Nate was amazing coordinating that and never let on! Nate went the extra mile and even did a site visit with us and spoke to our location prior to the wedding day. The day of I could not have asked for a better MC or DJ. He is great at reading the crowd and knowing when something needs more time or when to speed things up. Invaluable on a very long day. He also got everyone out on the dance floor! He played something for everyone! From my 65 year old aunt to my 22 year old sister everyone had a great time on the dance floor. He made our day so special and I have only the best things to say about him. Thank you!

Nate was referred to me for my wedding, and he absolutely killed it! His MC skills were essential to keeping the flow of the event going (from ceremony to cocktail hour to the reception), and everyone loved his music. Dance floor was full all night.

In addition, he was extremely helpful and responsive throughout the entire planning process - he came to my neighborhood to meet in person and discuss plans twice! That level of service really helps put your mind at ease when you're planning a wedding.

We were really happy when we found Nate from Caliber DJs. He DJed our wedding in Napa this past October 2018. He was very professional on multiple levels that really helps when you are planning all the things that go into a wedding. We met him in person once over coffee just to go over our style and what we liked and didn't like....he quickly picked up on all the different things we needed/wanted (80s/90s music, house music, middle eastern type music, etc...). He was great about perfectly setting up 3 different sound setups on the day of our wedding (outdoor lawn wedding, then separate sound set up for cocktail hour, and separate setup indoors for the reception). During the wedding, he was able to keep a ton of people on the dancefloor the whole time and seamlessly went through the different genres we requested. And he knew exactly what we meant when we asked for none of the usual cheesy wedding, "crowd pleaser" songs. There were even difficult guests that we had which he diffused with ease and professionalism. Can't recommend him enough and you may not find this info elsewhere but he was a very accomplished Chicago house DJ before even doing weddings! When we learned about his background, we knew that all our music enthusiast (and snob, haha) friends would be entertained all night. He totally delivered and can't recommend him enough!

Nate DJed at our wedding and he made it really special. He went above and beyond to show up at the venue the day before to go over any questions and finalize everything. He is an especially talented DJ who listened to our requests beforehand and came through on them for the day of the wedding. He is an easy going and all around super nice guy!! Thank you Nate!!

Nate with Caliber DJs was awesome! We had heard him at a friends wedding and immediately booked him for our own. He was professional, fun and somehow knew exactly what we wanted to hear at our wedding when we had no idea. My husband and I both appreciate good music but when asked for titles of songs or artists we froze. Nate asked us a few questions and delivered the dance party of our dreams. The dance floor was always occupied and we had so many people come up to us (both young and old) complementing the music. I can't wait for the next big party I get to plan so I can hire Nate again.

Nate was an absolute pleasure to work with, and his DJing throughout the night was absolutely perfect. Nate happily talked to use many times leading up to the big day, gaining insight into the themes we wanted to project through our music, and executed on it magnificently. He also went above and beyond, creating some custom cuts of songs for specific parts of the evening. We couldn't have been happier with the night, and it was perfect in large part of because of Nate's hard work and excellent performance.

Nate absolutely ROCKED our wedding! Not only did he keep our guests on the dance floor the ENTIRE night, he set just the right mood and ambiance for the lower-key moments of the evening as well during cocktail hour, dinner, etc.

And he really worked his magic making our ceremony sound crystal clear despite some insane, out-of-the-blue wind that descended right before the ceremony was set to start. We just watched our video of the ceremony and from the sound alone you couldn't tell there was any wind at all (our hair blowing around in the wind was a different story, however ). Nate was wonderful to work with. We booked him as our DJ for our wedding in San Francisco last month (April). He was responsive, accommodating, and easy going throughout. We met briefly in person ahead of the wedding to review music preferences which was really helpful to get to know Nate and be comfortable that he "got it" -- he did! Nate helped to keep things moving along from cocktail hour to dinner service to cake cutting and onto the dance floor. He absolutely nailed the music selection and we had a full dance floor from the start through to the final note of the last song. We were thrilled!

Nate Seider was amazing to work with as our wedding DJ. He is extremely responsive and easy to work with leading up to the wedding, and our interaction with him gave us confidence that he would be the best DJ for our wedding. There were a couple of unique challenges with our wedding that Nate had to handle and he handled it very smoothly. Not only did he have to work with us to make a custom mix of the song we wanted to walk down the aisle to the week of the wedding (our fault for procrastinating), we found out later that he also had to secretly coordinate with our wedding party on executing a surprise flash mob for me and my wife. Nate is very good at being flexible and rolling with the punches, getting creative when needed, and that's why we would highly recommend Nate and Caliber DJs for any event!

We could not have been happier with our choice of Nick Schuster of Caliber DJs to provide music and audio at our backyard wedding! Along with our family and friends, we were delighted with the music Nick selected and the embellishments he added to a diverse list of artists and genres we sent over in the months beforehand! Nick is a true professional, was a pleasure to work with, and was always responsive from our initial inquiry up through the event itself. He even arrived an hour ahead of schedule on the wedding day to ensure that there was plenty of time to set up and accommodate any last minute contingencies. We truly feel Caliber DJs helped to make our event special, and could not recommend them highly enough to anyone seeking a memorable soundtrack on their special day.

When we began planning our wedding back in May of this year, Nate was one of the first vendors I contacted. Music is a huge part of our life, so of course it was going to be a huge part of our wedding. Nate's easy manner, professionalism and experience as a club DJ made us confident that he was the man for the job. Our outdoor venue on a friend's expansive ranch was not the easiest, but Nate worked with us to make it all happen. We threw in a few curveballs as we neared the big day and he handled every request from providing mics, sound and hitting our recessional song right on cue. We gave him a playlist of contemporary, jazz, Motown, 70s, 80s, etc and he ran with it big time. All the while he played to the crowd and looked like he was having a great time along with us. Nate, thanks for making our wedding magical & memorable!

We used Nate as our DJ for our June 2017 wedding. I have absolutely nothing but great things to say about him. He kept close in contact all throughout our engagement, was super responsive to emails, and was overall just perfect to work with. On our actual wedding day, he played the BEST music that kept everyone on the dance floor. We gave him a list of about 15-20 songs for the overall vibe of our wedding and he took care of the rest.
I would definitely recommend Nate as a DJ to any event, but especially something so special as a wedding.

I'm writing this the day after our wedding when I have a million things to do because Nate was THAT good of a DJ and deserves immediate praise.

We made things as complicated as possible for him, requesting a mix of russian, Jewish, Latin, and American music to please our very mixed crowd, and he made the dancing more fun than I ever thought possible. It was by far the best wedding playlist I have ever heard and made everyone dance so much I was afraid the older people at our wedding were going to collapse.

He also mic'd several live musicians we had, and set up in 3 different places at our venue, all the while charging less than almost every other DJ we spoke with.

He met with us before the wedding and was SO professional.

Just after we got engaged, we attended a friend's wedding where my then-fiancee and I turned to each other after dancing our butts off and said, THIS is the kind of DJ we want at our wedding! The guy had turntables and actual records, played good music, and had everyone out on the dance floor, which was refreshing after having recently attended a couple of other weddings where the music and the dancing were.. lacking. So I immediately asked this friend who their DJ was, and we were introduced to Nate with Caliber DJs.

We first met with Nate, who was incredibly nice and helpful and he recommended Nick for our wedding. After meeting with Nick, we knew we were in good hands and didn't need to look any further for our DJ. Working with both Nate and Nick was such a joy, especially after having dealt with some awful wedding industry vendors. Caliber DJs clearly knows how to help you throw an awesome dance party - they send you a thoughtful and thorough questionnaire, and both Nate and Nick offered to help us however they could, even beyond music related questions. While we included our favorite bands in the questionnaire and had several "must plays", we knew we could turn the rest over to a professional. Nick was an absolute pleasure to work with. When we showed up to our wedding reception, Nick was ready to go and had things under control. He graciously changed our timeline at the last minute to accommodate extra speeches and handled music requests like a champ, as well as the lingering and curious children who were in awe of DJ Nick and his turntables. Nick gave us the dance party we wanted - we got multiple compliments about it throughout the night and everyone danced, from young kids to grandparents.

We highly recommend Caliber DJs. They will be your favorite vendor to work with and give you exactly what you are looking for.

Nate is an amazing guy, an excellent DJ, and the perfect person to help personalize your wedding experience. Though I've known Nate for a while and I've seen him perform in his non-wedding-DJ persona and had high expectations, he totally blew me and my partner away during our wedding day.

First off, Nate knows the industry in and out, and can provide excellent recommendations for great vendors. We live in San Francisco, but we got married in Chicago, and his experience in the wedding industry was invaluable in finding reliable, quality vendors. Our wedding was held at Ovation, a venue associated with Nate's previous wedding DJ collective and to our surprise, Nate was going to be out during our wedding weekend. We were honored when he offered to DJ our big day.

After a few conversations we were firmly on the same page about what we wanted at our wedding and who our real audience was. He expertly choreographed the intro, processional, and recessional music. Using his best professional DJ voice he MCed the entire evening and added a well-polished sheen to the event. Once it came time for dancing, he did a great job fitting with the spirit of the music we wanted. He was weaving together songs and kept a great mood to the entire evening. After a few rounds of drinks, and when we were ready to really dance, he turned up the energy and turned our wedding into a super fun dance party.

If you want an A+++ wedding DJ, Nate and Caliber DJs is the place to go.

This review is quite delayed from our wedding, but I had to make sure to get in a few good words to Nate and his team. From the beginning Nate was very responsive and professional. I probably had at least 5 conversations with Nate to discuss the venue setup, musical preferences, contract details, etc. Our wedding was a pretty unique set up. It was an entirely outdoor wedding with 4 separate areas that were somewhat spread apart (ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing). 2 of the areas did not have any access to electricity and were on a bluff. They ended up providing 3 different audio set-ups. Nate was awesome about answering all of my questions regarding his equipment setup and talking through my concerns to ensure that we didn't have any audio issues. He was also great in being very cost effective, trying to minimize additional audio equipment. Nate visited with the DJ prior to our event to make sure he understood what the venue looked like. On the day of, he sent a DJ and an assistant to make sure systems could be moved seamlessly. DJ Duke was our specific DJ for the day of the wedding. Duke was also very responsive and available to talk through our style and musical preferences. He was totally prepared the day of the event. One little flaw was that he played a song that was on our do not play list. It wasn't a huge deal and certainly didn't overshadow all of the great organization, friendliness, quality of service, and reasonable pricing throughout. I would highly recommend using Nate and his company without hesitation.

I don't know where to begin with my absolute raves for Nate. My wife and I found him on Facebook of all places, when we were looking for an LGBT community member to DJ our wedding. Nate was incredibly personable and responsive, and he worked with us to customize a package that was tailored to our needs. His correspondence was always so nice (and continues to be months after our wedding!) and we felt so good and confident about working with him from beginning to end. He was enthusiastic and accommodating, and we felt really confident about hiring a DJ with nightclub experience for that added aspect of party. Nate totally delivered. We got married at a residence and he hooked the whole place up with speakers and mics, even though we were doing the ceremony in one place and the reception in another. All the music that played was perfect, and we especially appreciated a total music save when our processional went longer than expected and he seamlessly looped the song to cover the rest of the entrance. We had such a great time dancing and there were so many moments when I was sad to miss dancing to a song I loved because I was saying hello to a family member! For a small additional fee, Nate hit record on the whole evening and we are so happy to have the audio files of all the music played at we wedding as well as our ceremony and toasts! Nate's fantastic. Highly recommend!

Every awesome review about Nate Seider is SPOT ON. He is extremely responsive, fantastic to work with, and incredibly flexible. He was the DJ for our October wedding in Northern California - it poured rain, which meant a lot of last-minute changes. Nate was not only calm in the chaos; he made everything fun, all while interacting seamlessly and professionally with us and with all of the vendors.

Nate got guests from age 2 to 82 out on the dance floor. Nothing could have prepared us for the onslaught of total crowd-pleasers he pulled out, somehow played at just the right time. Hip hop, Motown, funk, top 40, merengue - yes!! People were so busy dancing they forgot to drink--we had three cases of wine left over at the end of the night.

If you're wondering what you need to make your next event awesome, BOOK NATE. He will make things work under the direst of circumstances, and will turn an event into an unforgettable party. We cannot recommend him more highly.

We were SO pleased that we hired Caliber DJs for our wedding reception. Edwin was professional, awesome at keeping the guests informed, on top of the timeline and best of all, got everyone on the dance floor having a blast. Edwin had great energy and followed my playlist to a tee while adding in the perfect songs that weren't on the list. He really understood our taste and made the night really special for us. Nate was one of our favorite vendors that we worked with and we could not recommend him more highly to everyone we know. We first saw him play at a friends' wedding, where he set a great atmosphere and kept everyone on the dance floor until the end of the night. When it was our turn to get married, we had no doubt who we wanted to dj for our wedding!

He went the extra mile by editing our first dance song multiple times, as well as the songs for our processional and recessional. We had complete trust in him handling the music and audio throughout the ceremony/reception, everything went perfectly. He made sure to incorporate all the songs we requested and had the perfect playlist on the dance floor. Many friends have said how much they enjoyed the music at our wedding. On top of that, Nate was always super responsive and professional, he delivered everything as promised. Working with him made this part of wedding planning as easy as can be. He is a warm, wonderful person and we hope to have a chance to work with him again in the future!

I can't believe it took so long for me to write this, but I owe Nate a glowing review for the work he did on my wedding. My husband and I got married a year ago in Sonoma and it would not have been nearly the event it was without Nate's services. He was incredibly helpful in guiding us toward music that was meaningful to us, flexible in working with the venue to set up in multiple locations for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. He also kept the dance floor packed from beginning to end. Awesome DJ, great guy, and could not have made it a more special night for us. We HIGHLY recommend that you use Nate if you can get on his packed schedule!

Nate did a great job at our wedding. He was very responsive and was a pleasure to work with. We had a few requests for our jewish dancing and Nate was more than happy to accommodate.

Of all of the aspects of wedding planning, music was one of the most important to me, and as a child of the 80's, I've always had a dream of having an 80's wedding resonant with Erasure, Bon Jovi, and all the best songs of my childhood. My husband and I spoke with a few different DJs, and they all felt very similar. They generally belonged to DJ mills where you talk almost exclusively with the corporate office and barely talk to the DJs themselves before the wedding. You also don't necessarily get a sense of what kind of music the DJs like themselves so that you can't tell if their tastes mesh with your taste.

Luckily, our wedding planner came to the rescue and introduced us to Nate! From the very first conversation, we could tell that he was a sweet, down-to-earth person who loved the same type of music we did and could give us the wedding that we were hoping for.

He was incredibly easy to work with and very attentive to our song requests. He didn't miss a beat (pun intended) when we requested that he play 80's TV show theme songs before the wedding ceremony. He timed the songs perfectly when my husband and his parents, our wedding party, and then my parents and I walked down the aisle, even though we asked for three different songs to be played. The wedding felt like it was a well-choreographed 80's musical tribute, and just this morning, when I was listening to Spotify and heard one of the songs that he played during the wedding dance party, I could remember how happy and perfectly content my husband and I were on our wedding day thanks to Nate's music.

DJ Nate was absolutely amazing for our June 2015 wedding. He played exactly what we were looking for (with very little to go on from my husband and I) and kept everyone out there dancing which was all we wanted. He listened to the things that we specifically wanted played as well as what we did not want played. He did a great job as the MC for the reception without making the whole thing sound "game showy". We got so many compliments from our guests about how great the DJ was! I would highly recommend Nate to anyone!

Should have written this sooner, but better late than never. My wife and I hired Nate to handle the music for our wedding back in the end of August, 2015. We shopped around a lot, check out a bunch of different DJ's. Nate not only gave us the best price of everyone, he was also able to set up a DJ for us that knew Latin music very well. The DJ that worked with us was Edwin Morales. Edwin DJed our wedding perfectly. He played the music we wanted him to play, while keeping it very mixed so it wasn't all one style or another. Everyone was on the dance floor all night. Nate was incredibly easy to get ahold of, and made sure to follow up or help on anything he needed. He helped get us in touch with other vendors as well. They did such an amazing job, and for a lot less than we were quoted by other groups. You will not be disappointed if you go with Nate and Caliber DJ's.

Nate is amazing! He was the DJ at my cousins wedding in Chicago and we absolutely loved what he DJ'ed. My husband and I were to be married in california the next summer, so I took his card and we worked out that he would be our DJ.
He is and was amazing and everyone commented on our choices of music and his DJ style. He's amazing and I totally recommend him! Remember, I paid to ship him out from Chicago to SF to DJ for us, that says a lot!

Nate DJ'd our wedding reception, and did an incredible job. The music was on point, the orchestration was flawless, and Nate's attention to detail was evident in the way that the evening came off. He even drove down to meet me two miles from my home the week before the wedding to make sure he had a good idea of our musical taste! Our reception was at a venue with multiple different environments, including an outdoor patio and indoor dance floor, and Nate had great sound set up everywhere, got people from place to place very naturally, and got everyone jamming on the floor with some great music. I would give him more stars if I could.

My husband I got married on 7/11/15, and we had an excellent experience with Nate as our DJ. Nate was working with Style Matters here in Chicago (where we were married), but he just recently moved to San Francisco to start Caliber DJs. Based on our experience with Nate, we would highly recommend him and Caliber DJs to anybody getting married in the San Francisco area!

One of our biggest priorities for our wedding was that everybody was out on the dance floor-- and Nate made that happen! He did such a great job of reading the crowd and playing songs that had everybody (and I mean everybody) tearing it up until the very last minute we had the venue. Even during the dinner portion of our reception, the background music that Nate played was so great that my husband actually said: "Wow, I feel like this is exactly the music I would pick!" It was really impressive-- clearly Nate had a good understanding of the styles of music we liked and made sure the music suited our preferences! We are so happy we had the opportunity to work with Nate at our wedding-- it wouldn't have been nearly as fun without him DJing for us! Highly recommended!

We were married on the beach so we were a little worried about the sound. His system is out of this world. People halfway down the beach could hear us. Fantastic!

We broke our reception into 3 different types of music...and Nate delivered each time. Guests were coming up to us saying how great the music was. As music people, that's exactly what we wanted to hear. From 90s alternative to dance hits of today, Nate has it covered!! And he's flexible. We had a few guest requests that he was able to add into the mix at a moment's notice.

Caliber DJs are professional, experienced, fun, and you can tell they love what they do. I am so happy they were a part of our big day. I can't say enough positive things. 10+ stars!!!

Nate DJ'd our wedding this past Saturday and literally brought the house down on the dance floor. The floor was mobbed the entire time and everybody was loving every song that came on. We found Nate through a google search and scheduled a face-to-face meeting. His attitude and personality were perfect for our event. Nate was cognizant of our budget and communicated with us throughout the entire time leading up to our event. Nate asked relevant questions and was genuinely interested in our day being perfect.
The day of, his setup and music were absolutely on point. He also made sure the day was flowing appropriately by telling people when to sit for food, cake, dancing etc.

Nate was a breeze to work with! He always got back to our emails within the day and usually within an hour 🙂 There were a few minor changes the day of our wedding, and our timeline ran a bit behind, and he worked through the changes with such professionalism! We really enjoyed Nate's music and he read our audience so well - we danced the entire night!

As reference, Nate DJed our reception at a restaurant in downtown San Francisco, and he had never DJed there before. We had the pleasure of meeting Nate through our wedding coordinator. Since we were planning a wedding in CA while working full time in Texas, we relied on phone conversations to speak with our vendors.

Prior to speaking with Nate, he sent us a questionnaire via email just to get an idea of what our music tastes were. I've been to many weddings before, and there were a few things that I wanted in a DJ:

1. I wanted the DJ to play my music!! I've heard of wedding Djs in the past that played their own music. With so much effort and time going into one day, Nate assured us that he would play our music. He was able to play some old stuff and new songs!!

2. We didn't want a DJ that talked too much: Nate was really accomodating, and I'm sure if you wanted him to speak more at your event he would, but for ours, we just wanted the music to speak for itself. Nate did announce certain things like the speeches, which is exactly what we wanted!!

3. We wanted smooth transitions between songs: Nate made seemless transitions between songs, and that kept the party going!!

4. We wanted to be able to hear the music, but not cause us to be deaf: The music was the right volume.

If you're in the Bay Area, and you're looking for a professional, considerate, entertaining DJ, then stop here and hire Nate.

Nate was the DJ for our wedding this past weekend and he was amazing to work with! He was easy to get ahold of and answered all of my questions in a timely manner. He was very flexible with our outdoor venue and did everything he could to make the day go smoothly for us, despite some weather interruptions! He kept the dance floor packed and we got so many compliments about how great all the music was! We loved having him be apart of our wedding experience and highly recommend him for any big event!

We were looking for a wedding DJ that could play a variety of music that not only would be enjoyable for us 30-somethings, but accessible enough that our older family members would have a good time as well. He started off the afternoon handling our ceremony perfectly with our requested songs, and then continued with a very nice, subtle collection, gradually increasing the intensity as the night went on. By the end of the night the dance floor was full and everyone was having the time of their life. We had a number of guests comment on how amazing the DJ was. Even friends of mine that usually don't dance were out there!

Nate not only did an amazing job with the song selection, sound quality and flow, but also helped coordinate the wedding through graceful mic cues over the course of the evening.
